Caring for your eye health

We provide a range of expert eyecare services with a tailored, patient-centered approach. Our longer no-rush consultations mean we take the time to understand your unique and individual needs, and thoroughly assess your vision and eye health for the best possible outcome.

Comprehensive eye exams

Booking in regular eye examinations is a vital part of maintaining good eye health and vision as we age. Our optometrists will closely examine every aspect of your eyes and vision, and we’ll explain our findings with you in a way that’s simple and easy to understand. We can also work with your GP or Opthamologist to create a tailored long-term care plan.

Advanced diagnostic technology

We offer state-of-the-art technology for advanced eye care, from digital retinal photography to optical coherence tomography (OCT). These diagnostic tools enable early detection of diseases such as macular degeneration, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy. We can take detailed images of the back and front of your eyes, which we can compare and monitor any progression over time.

Blepharitis treatment

Our therapeutic optometrists can diagnose and treat a range of chronic eye conditions including Blepharitis, an inflammation of the eyelids due to blocked oil glands causing irritation and redness. We can prescribe appropriate medications or antibiotics as required.

Dry eye management

Dry eye is a common and debilitating condition where there is an inadequate film of tears on the surface of the eye, resulting in stinging, burning and watering eyes. We use a unique in-house treatment called Blephasteam® that can unblock the oil glands in the eyelids and help them produce healthier oils needed for a stable and healthy tear film.

Myopia control

Myopia, or near-sightedness, is a common vision problem that usually occurs first in primary-school aged children and progresses with age as the eye continues to grow. We are an endorsed myopia control practice and we use proven methods of slowing or controlling that progression through the use of specific spectacles or contact lenses. Diabetic eye screening

If you have diabetes, you are at risk of developing diabetic retinopathy, which can damage your eyes and lead to sight loss if not found early and treated. Our diabetic eye screening will thoroughly check for any eye problems caused by diabetes and can detect any issues before you notice changes to your vision.

Contact lens fittings

Contact lens technology has come a long way and there is now a wide range of lenses to suit most active lifestyles. We’ll work with you to find the best lens option that’s comfortable, reliable and affordable, while giving you the clearest vision possible. Enjoy the freedom and flexibility of contact lenses and speak with our eye care team today to see if contacts might be right for you.

Frame adjustments

We carry out our own expert fitting on site to our high standards and can also make adjustments and repairs. Adjustments are free for the life of your glasses, with repairs dependent on the warranty of the frames and lenses. We also offer an exceptional 12-month scratch-free warranty on all of our Hoya lenses purchased with a diamond finish coating. Simply bring your glasses in and we’ll replace the lenses free of charge.
